Letter From Prison

Dear Friends,

Thanks for your infinite support during my imprisonment at Butner FMC, NC. Every letter is precious and appreciated.
Prison is a prison and there is nothing that can cover up my sense of loss of freedom and dignity behind locked doors at the mercy of humans who know nothing about me except that I am prisoner #17297-084 at 2G and that I am deemed mentally ill. Other prisoners have a healthy fear of us because of our suspected mental condition.
Good things are many. Most of my fellow inmates have restored my faith in humanity by their kindness and protecting brotherly behavior. Their kindness, genuine caring is refreshing. I have been wisely coached to avoid booby-traps,  entrapment and the rules of the shower.
Nursing staff are compassionate and compensate for some bureaucratic shortcomings of medical care. Psychiatric team members seem very compassionate as well and genuine in their efforts to find out the truth.
In prison the clock moves slowly, and there is despair, hope, affection, and deception (much like the outside world)
Please pray for me and write to me, my address is
