the war on drugs: major gains versus harm,dr salerian

                           The War On Drugs :
        Major Gains Versus Harm

§  Proven gains for public : None.
§  Evidence-based medicine to support the war: None
§  Physician casualties: 24,000.
§  Patient casualties: The rise in suicide epidemic.
§  Patient casualties: Dr. and medication shortage to treat pain , addiction and psychiatric disorders.
§  Patient casualties: the rise in suicide epidemic worsened by shortage of doctors  and medications to treat pain addiction and psychiatric disorders.
§  Patient casualties: the rise in heroin epidemic because of shortage of doctors and medications to treat pain  addiction and psychiatric disorders.

§  Major gains: $9 billion confiscated from physician wealth. The law enforcement agencies supplement agency budgets and indiscriminately prey upon physician assets motivated by easy money. Furthermore, even when the charges against a physician are dismissed the DOJ shamelessly hold on to the confiscated assets through legal loopholes.

All I’m trying to ask,DR SALERIAN POEM

All I’m trying to ask

Please please
Say nothing
Stay still
Voiceless
Desert dead quiet
Any sound
Motions vernicular
Any waves
Air bubbles
Air waves
Hollow bones of grace
Even secrets  belonging to God
May diminish
My silence
Message of love
Flourishing  by hope
All I’m trying to ask
May I sleep with you

3.   Siobhan Reynolds-Board member – Plane crash.
4.   Solange MacArthur – Board member-Suicide-Distraught over center closure.

Not a day passes without my mind questioning why 5 very good people fell victim  during a phantom war and what I could've done to prevent their silent passage.

Hundred Years From Now,poem by dr salerian

Hundred Years From Now

Uncle Rupen
Was it you
A century ago
And one year
And  many long seconds
Watching from skies
Billowing smoke
Blackening seas
Rushing Bosporus

Were you toying
With universe
Or darkness
Making elephants rage
Deserts flood
Drowning poets
Weeping sorrow
Raining shame
Remembering 1915

Hundred years from now
