Sharks Without Balls
at the
Expense of Humans in Pain
Recollections of Alen J
Salerian MD
a
movie by Alan Guy based upon the New
Tuskeegee:Persecution of pain doctors in
America
The most fascinating aspect of
this Alan Guy film” Sharks without balls
“ is , it is a witch hunt
not from another century or from Soviet Union or Nazi Germany. It is a
true story from 2011 Washington DC.
You meet many faces from
different cultures; people from West
Virginia , Kentucky, an immigrant Dr, a Jewish wife , passionate Redskin fans shell shocked by DEA men with guns crashing into their Bethesda home at dawn on March 3, 2011.
You also meet modern angels:
Linda from Abington, Virginia. A woman
in prison for a fictional traffic violation . She may: go home to enjoy her
husband and seven-year-old daughter or
face uncertainties and loss of freedom and daughter. Will she lie about her doctor who made her
pain go away? Will she falsely accuse
the same doctor who cured her heroin addict husband of giving her
drugs for sex?
You meet Billy, a 12-year-old from War West
Virginia ,who filmed a savage beating.
Billy didn’t know why the cops were
yelling bad things about a Muslim
doctor- Dr. Taliban-and kicking the man
on the ground,. He couldn’t stop himself from replaying the
tape “ you must have your bones broken to keep our town clean”.
Guy let attorneys explain their strategy . He
let David Sanford’, Glen Donath, Josh Berman and
judge Dean share their
perspectives.
Guys camera work is magical as he let images
tell the story: the agony of
savage versus reason in modern America. Or what some people call the war on drugs
and pain doctors in America.
