Brain Lessons For High School Students:

  Robin Williams, President  Johnson, Lance Armstrong  First Lady Betty Ford will always be  for how  they fought major battles against ravaging deadly disorders.

  The exception perhaps is Robin Williams and possibly Pres. Johnson. Despite all the indignities that blemished his  bicycling  triumphs  Armstrong will always be remembered as the man who fought testicular cancer and won. First lady Betty Ford and John Wayne will also be remembered for their courageous struggles with other  malignant cancers.

   Why are we so silent about Robin Williams and Pres. Johnson and the disorders of their premature and sudden deaths? are we still  spooked by  brain brain dysfunctions that kill  some 40.000 Americans every year and  800 million people around the world:  suicide and depression. Details matter but they are beyond the scope of this article and can easily be found under” depression and suicide” in all psychiatric textbooks and of course in the Internet. 
  Many president Johnson biographies that covered the end of his life would also offer helpful hints about guilt and depression that shadowed the retired president in his Texas ranch where he died suddenly and no autopsy was performed.

Einstein Prefrontal Cortex And Sleep Apnea

  There is so much to learn from Einstein's brain. 
  Thank God it has been preserved. 
  We know for instance that his brain weight was average. We also know that his prefrontal cortex in particular and various cortical regions were much larger due to unusual folds.  Is this what blessed   Einstein with  greater actual PFX power?

  There is a  little-known known Einstein  observation not documented medically. Einstein was tempermental . He seemed easily angered by his wife . They were divorced after a nasty and well-publicized divorce.  Einstein was also known for irregular sleep patterns, insomnia and frequent daily naps. All these symptoms  are consistent with sleep apnea. 
 Did Einstein snore?  My educated guess is he suffered from sleep apnea..

   I have no doubt that the folds on his brain and his prefrontal cortex have been our  magnificent gift.

Dear Patients Friends And Colleagues

  This is my announcement of my new life as a physician dedicated to promote Hippocratic medicine. This is also my farewell to the practice of medicine.

  Two people lied and I went down. After my fall many atrocities struck   my associates and patients. My bookkeeper and a key board member committed suicide, a physician associate died of a bleeding ulcer. Seven patients committed suicide.

  Without a trial I was falsely imprisoned and tortured while I was under siege by hostile cancer cells invading my body. I had surgery.

  So far I have survived thanks to the goodness of my family, supporters and gifted doctors.

 I am committed to help others with lessons learned.

When Presidents Lie People Suffer

  The timing of our front-page news about lies by NBC anchorman Brian Williams and Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert MacDonald is perfect.  We have an opportunity to address a highly sensitive and at times unspeakable paradox  before upcoming presidential elections.

     When a high profile public figure embellishes his accomplishments we all loudly protest .This is  because of our national paradigm: In general we Americans view ourselves as honest and expect our public figures  not to lie.  

  And in general it does not matter whether a lie is little or big . Inconsequential or serious with profound national and international implications . Lies are lies, lies are bad .

    Here comes an unspeakable, unnerving paradox: Americans and America do not always share the same paradigm. This is true everywhere in the world. Turks and Turkey, Germans and Germany, Israel and Israelis do not always operate on the same paradigm .

     For instance, most Americans opposed the Vietnam war that killed  50,000 Americans and 1.5 million Vietnamese. President Lyndon Johnson declared war on Vietnam. The president  convinced America war was good for Americans. President Bush  misrepresented Saddam's weapons of mass destruction.

 The CDC director  misrepresented and declared a phantom epidemic of deaths from prescription pain medications. 20,000 American doctors were imprisoned in the last 10 years. Millions of Americans have suffered immensely.

   20th century witnessed  similarly painful clashes of paradigms and leadership lies .

  The powers in charge of Germany and the Ottoman Empire engineered the Armenian Genocide and the Holocaust. Should we blame  Germans or Turks for past horrors?  Should we blame Americans for Pres. Johnson's past failings?

        Here's the good news . All major man-made catastrophic events  have been the brainchild of  leadership lies.  The Armenian genocide came after the Ottoman leaders, Talat and Enver pashas branded the Armenian minority as parasites and a major threat to national security.

   30 years later Hitler said” who nowadays remember Armenians “and cleansed Germany of diverse menaces German Jews , gypsies and homosexuals .Lyndon Johnson preached the necessity to carpet bomb Vietnam to stop communism.

   Millions  had no meaningful input in the key decisions that made  grotesque man-made devastations possible in the 20th century.

   Let us not waste our time about high profile lies. With or without our paradoxical paradigms our democracy will depend on zero tolerance for presidential lies.

Scientific Discoveries Buried Under by Dennis and....

   It is true that my lucky scientific observations have been buried under an avalanche of false rumors . I openly acknowledge my self-interest  to publicize my little-known discoveries to shorten my man-made suffering.

   I proved that Pres. John F. Kennedy's postmortem examination at Bethesda Naval Hospital was a sham, a blemish for the US presidency.    I also observed that even a small lie by a US president could be catastrophic at the expense of millions of lost lives and immense suffering. The presidential lies that took us to Vietnam or misrepresentations about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction have been two tragic examples . To prevent future man-made disasters I have proposed zero-tolerance for presidential lies.

  I have painfully observed man-made errors that have been delaying scientific progress in psychiatry. For instance the diagnostic statistical manual of mental disorders( DSM)   -because of its scientific flaws- has harmed people with brain disorders.

  Saleri and myself showed that body temperature is a key regulator of brain health .We pointed out the potential therapeutic benefits of lowering core body temperature by prolonging life and slowing down brain degeneration.

  Finally a month ago I published my discovery of the predominant governing influence of prefrontal cortex in normalcy and mental health. As long as pre-frontal cortex is robust and functional brain abnormalities remain under control without any signs of psychiatric illness. Therefore the vibrant functioning of prefrontal cortex is the single most important factor in mental illness.

 Two years earlier  Altar and myself  offered neuroimaging evidence to show that prefrontal cortex function was the key mediator in depression and remission.

 I have been harassed , abused, falsely imprisoned and raped.

My pain has also energized my mind. Several discoveries would not have been possible without the bad apples who engineered my demise.    I express my gratitude to Dennis Lee(Abington ,Virginia politician), DEA agent Sponheimer- Steven Kennedy(World Bank) Ariel Sabar of Washingtonian for their kind meanness.
