Einstein Prefrontal Cortex And Sleep Apnea
Alen J Salerian MD
February 27, 2015
There
is so much to learn from Einstein's brain.
Thank God it has been preserved.
We know for instance that his brain weight was average. We also know that his prefrontal cortex in particular and various cortical regions were much larger due to unusual folds. Is this what blessed Einstein with greater actual PFX power?

There
is a little-known known Einstein observation not documented
medically. Einstein was tempermental . He seemed
easily angered by his wife . They were divorced after a nasty and well-publicized
divorce. Einstein was also known for
irregular sleep patterns, insomnia and frequent daily naps. All these symptoms are consistent with sleep apnea.
Did Einstein snore? My educated guess is he suffered from sleep apnea..

I
have no doubt that the folds on his brain and his prefrontal cortex have been
our magnificent gift.
