Freud Complexity and Mental Illness

               Freud Complexity and Mental Illness

Complexity suggests this image is impossible

Freudian psychology has been harmful for psychiatry . This is because  brain function, emotions and behavior are governed by  the laws  of complexity.
There are many examples of  this paradox  that promotes grossly unscientific popular beliefs.
·      Bad mothers produce  dysfunctional adults.
·      Traumatic childhoods  cause  mental  illness.
·      Teenage marijuana  use leads to narcotic addiction .
·      Not expressing anger causes depression.
·      Teenage drinking  causes alcoholism.
·      Healthy diets, vitamins and exercise   can prevent most  emotional problems.
·      Codependency is a sign of psychiatric illness.
·      People with addiction  are self-destructive.
