A Toddler At The Beach
I am no proud
American
No credit to my race
Don't condone
Carpet bombing Muslims
I dread anguish
I fear brown clouds
Dark balloons floating
Under black skies
Mean punishing winds
Blowing through
I once watched
A toddler no longer living
Resting at the beach
Sleeping
Perhaps dreaming
A warm blanket
And swimming lessons
Absent brown clouds
Red orange pink balloons floating
