A Good Mother,Salerian poem

A Good Mother

When was the last time
This year last year or last week
Or whenever
You let her know
A simple fact
Great she was
Forget coal miners or brain surgeons
Soldiers cab drivers or laborers
Take your hat off
Salute mama
Her maternal instincts
The undervalued gift
Being a good mother
Not many witnesses
Lots of funny memories
Just say to her
I’m having a good day
Soon the new year comes
It will be a great year
Thanks for everything
