Truth is
On surface or when it matters
Me is the King
Veterinary exceptions to the rule
My dog for instance
Or my parents
Or my parrot
Issues of major concern
War and peace
Very alive very urgent
And vary in complexity
Seem to sink my chances
Of getting attention
So often so consistently that my fox friend says
“Truth is
No worry it's not you
it's the world
No one gives a damn about the jungle
And only one thing
One thing matters
Only one”
