Dear Sen.Cardin
Thank you again for your time and attention to the atrocities suffered buy
people which pain depression or
addiction.
Let me share
the details of tragic deaths of Paul Stickley and Joseph Nasser from Maryland
i.
Paul was a success story , for decades having
done well despite addiction and depression which had previously not responded
to electroshock treatment and multiple
hospitalizations.
With
appropriate treatment ,he blossomed got married and got off unemployment . His treatment under my care ended because of family rumors of bad
treatment. I warned Paul and his family of serious
risk because up his past history. 1 1/2 years later Paul died from a bleeding ulcer
after receiving shock treatments which
shattered his back and left him in excruciating pain. The nonnarcotic
painkillers and bad doctors caused his
death.
Shockingly incredibly the DC Board of medicine came after
for having contributed to his problems. After only one day of expert
testimony the medical board I was
exonerated. No one bothered to go after the event doctors and Suburban Hospital for negligent homicide.
Joseph
was a success story as well.
After years of turbulet battles against depression and addiction he did well
with psychopharmacological treatments and psychotherapy and moved to Colorado to attend college. When
DEA raided my home in Maryland he began attending a local methadone clinic
in Colorado.
He had become depressed, suicidal He called me a number of times frantically. All
I could do was to direct him to the local emergency rooms. He slashed his
wrists and died.
His
case was also reviewed by the DC Board of medicine.
It was more than ironic. The DC Board of medicine was responsible for Joseph’s death.
Dear Sen. What can we do to
prevent future unnecessary homicides ?
Please help please
investigate.
When do you have time to talk?
Respectfully
Alen j Salerian
