scoring a goal a poem by dr salerian

 Scoring A Goal

No reason to rush
Do not hurry
We have time
Plenty of time
Perfect passes from foot
To head to foot
A soccer ball journey
By air or on the ground
Long distances
Rapid eyes
Brightest brains frozen
Hypnotized
Shadowing a ball
Then suddenly cheers
Someone scoring a goal
Dramatic heat wave
Rising air pressure
Mood happiness euphoria
People sobbing screaming
Triumph of my team
Worth billions and billions
Happiness
And this was not about soccer
Just a page from life
A test score
A letter from college
A kiss
Embracing wife after prison

Embracing life whenever
