Dear Ms McCarthy

   

I commend you for your  insightful article” lifting the veil of shame” in  today's Washington Post.

   Your article is most relevant for many beside female rape victims: men, old men and prisoners. I am one. I was at FMC Butner in 2014. The atrocities I did witness and endure are neither exciting nor sexy to make it to any decent paper. They're  odd and unnerving but worthy of public attention.
