Why To Treat Chronic Pain

 And   Ban Boxing?

We are a land of paradox. We lockup pain doctors for promoting addiction  and spend billions of dollars promoting boxing and soccer.

  Drug addiction can be harmful and hurt brain tissue including our most precious  sub organ the prefrontal cortex in charge of our IQ and emotions. Of course it is absurd to punish doctors but that's another matter. In this case the government is trying to protect human brains and our collective health. Science says not treating pain causes brain damage. So locking up doctors is bad for our brains.

  Why do we promote boxing? Why does our government to spend tax dollars for our young brains suffer permanent brain damage? Why do we include boxing in Olympics? Why does NBC created a special boxing night for us to watch  savage acts methodically attacking countless prefrontal cortex helpless to defend themselves.

Where are my fellow doctors speaking up loudly? Where is anyone saying head shots in soccer or in any sport is bad for our kids and for our collective intelligence.

Let us demand that Congress act now.

Let us say no more boxing no more head shots in any sport.
