About The Genocide

    When Pope Francis pontificated about the Armenian genocide and chose not to use the word massacre  I first wondered whether the difference mattered.

    I say it matters because it could  prevent  future genocides.

    Genocide is a state-sponsored  extermination of  a minority group. The definition is very precise .

   Is it possible for 1 million  Turkish Armenians to be mass transported to distant regions without state action?

    Is it possible to kill 10,000 priests and wipe out the entire Congress of  Turkish Armenian heritage without  organized action?

    Is it possible to practically wipe out the Turkish Armenian press reporters  without organized action?

  Could be a coincidence to kill 11 poets and one comedian in one day in Istanbul without organized action?

   I say thank you Pope for speaking up.
