I’m A Proud Tree(For doctors awaiting trial) DR salerian poem

I’m A Proud Tree

(For doctors awaiting  trial)

Your Honor
I am Dr. S
S like Sam
I’ve been a pine tree
On persimmon tree road
Awaiting my day
My day in court
Since son
Surgeon son gone
Son now Dr. T
New name new town pretty wife
Grandpa must be sobbing
After a fiery ambush
Planting me here
Seven years ago

 A proud tree
I am a naturalized pine tree
Son bewildered
I suppose
Suffocating shaken
My shameful looks
Grotesque tremor
Upon whistling
Gusting winds
Not blaming son
Inside I’m sizzling
Roasting slowly
Grieving grandpa
That's why Your Honor
Grant me please
Soon very soon
My day in court
Not for me

For my grandpa
