§  What is the scientific evidence for blaming prescription pain medications for an epidemic of heroine addiction? How do we know whether this is an association or causation*?
§  What is  the scientific evidence for blaming prescription pain medications for an epidemic of deaths from overdose? How do we know whether this is an association or causation?
§  Why is there such a disproportionately high emphasis to publicize an epidemic of deaths from heroine versus little or no CDC effort about deaths from suicide when significantly higher percentage of people prematurely die of suicide (12.6 for suicide 3.1 for heroine per 100.000 population)?
§  In view of the fact that almost all addictions are complications of various psychiatric disorders why is CDC so passive in informing the public of the current epidemic of rising deaths from suicide?


*Association and causation are not synonymous. For a causative association statistically valid evidence must be shown.
