Acknowledging Past Errors Is A Sign Of Progress

A human is made of billions of cells. A nation is made of millions of humans.  A government is made of thousands of humans.
Humans make mistakes. Governments make mistakes . Progress means acknowledging errors .
Germany apologized for the Holocaust.  Neither Japan nor Turkey nor USA have ever apologized for catastrophic errors against Koreans, Chinese or Armenians and Vietnamese. The Government of Israel -a nation of victims of discrimination throughout history-has not acknowledged any wrongdoing against its own citizens of Palestinian heritage.
I commend Robert McNamara an extraordinary American with wisdom  for  acknowledging responsibility of past wrongs by the US government. This is something to celebrate as evidence of evolution .
The Challenge is could Dennis Lee or Steven Kennedy learn from Robert McNamara?
Dennis Lee believed  Steven Kennedy.  That Steven's son Patrick was viciously murdered by  a well-known Washington psychiatrist . The rest is history. The doctor went down. Sadly dozens of people died and thousands suffered because of false allegations. Now the truth is known. But neither Dennis Lee nor Steven Kennedy show any remorse about their crimes.

That's why I will continue voicing the truth regardless of the adverse  consequences to my loved ones or myself.
