         DEA Dirty Tricks In The War
            On Drugs And Doctors

 Real life examples : Dr. Ziscovici  and Dr. Salerian



Interference With Practice By Defamation and Terror:

§  CVS prescription medication bottles were stamped by “Dr Salerian is under investigation.
§  Patient reports that local policemen referred to Dr. Salerian as Dr. Taliban, a federal prosecutor used the term Dr. pill-mill as a reference to Dr. Salerian years before the indictment.
§  Under DEA pressure CVS and Walgreen pharmacies refused to honor valid prescriptions written by Dr. Salerian years before the indictment.
§  Under DEA pressure Citibank discontinued banking services long before the indictment.

False Accusations Of Inappropriate Sexual Relations With Patients:

§  Patient reports of organized pressure by DEA to obtain false allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior by Dr. Salerian and Dr. Ziscovici.
§  A patient of Dr. S who refused to cooperate temporarily lost the custody of her seven-year-old daughter (LM).

Terror And Intimidation:

§  Dr. Ziscovici suffered a broken jaw during the raid on his home.
§  Dr. Salerian was rendered unconscious for many hours during the raid on his office.
§  A patient of Dr. Salerian was medicated by DEA staff upon fainting during the raid.
§  Wife daughter and son of Dr. Salerian were handcuffed and placed on the floor for long hours during the raid .






Violations of Due Process:

§  The attorneys of Dr. Salerian was not permitted to see the doctor during the raid.
§  Dr. Ziscovici lost his medical license without due process (Maryland).
§  Dr. Salerian lost his controlled substance registration without due process (Washington DC).

Financial strangulation:

§  Some $7 million of family inheritance of Dr. Ziscovici was confiscated during the raid.
§  Three cars and $168,000 were confiscated from Dr. Salerian during the raid.
