xx xx MD A Victim Of Our Barbaric Laws Of The War On Drugs

xx  xx MD A Victim Of Our Barbaric Laws Of The War On Drugs

For about two months xx a psychiatrist has been imprisoned charged with conspiracy to sell controlled substances.
Dr. xx  has not had a trial yet but his personal wealth has been confiscated. In prison with personal wealth taken away by forfeiture laws he has now become financially unable to defend himself adequately .
What has happened to us? Where is our Constitution? Is this America? How logical it is for a physician practicing psychiatry for 30 years to suddenly  engage in drug trafficking. This is an old analogy but I don't mind repeating it. The chances of a psychiatrist becoming a drug dealer is as good as Trump or Rockefeller children robbing banks.
If the Department of Justice wants to be tough to fight drugs in the streets it's okay. That does not justify the immoral and unconstitutional methods-imprisonment before a trial, confiscation of wealth and financially paralyzing  a person facing criminal charges-to prosecute. Yet it happens all the time and now it's happening to Dr.xx in America.

Please doctors lawyers and judges call your Congressman or the presidential candidates and let them know it is barbaric to treat healers the way we have been treating because of the war on drugs.
