Kites and Seagulls
Watching nights
Before balloons
Fade away
Spotting kites
Like candles
Melting away
Deserting earth
Hands stretched in the air
I’m trying to catch the sky
Seagulls laughing
Diving for fish
Swordfish unaware
Of balloons
Or my unrealized dreams
