Crossing The Atlantic DR SALERIAN POEM IMAGE

Crossing the Atlantic
For AJS

Never complain
Never say anything
Rough torturous journey
A fly a mosquito  or a bee
Riding an elephant
Crossing the Atlantic
Hunting eating fish
In search of a better land
Never dare
Never never notice
Microscopic ills
If you must vent
Wait till
You cross the water
Once on land
Then comes freedom
You may call the beast
Anything you wish
You could call him fatso
A peasantly fat pig
A driver from hell

But wait till…..
