Could The DC Board Of Medicine Ever Acknowledge Past Mistakes?
FEBRUARY 10 2015
Dear Members Of The DC Board Of Medicine

To err is human. Is it possible to aknowledge your error
in the death of my patient Patrick Kennedy?
I have DNA like evidence that Patrick Kennedy died from a congenital cardiac disease unrelated to his treatment under my care. Two nationally known experts have reached this conclusion. Harrison's textbook of internal medicine and Goodman and Gilman therapeutics indicate the blood level and dosage of methadone were consistent with safe and therapeutic methadone administration.
The board has an ethical responsibility to speak the truth consistent with evidence-based medicine. Legal arguments are insufficient not to correct past errors.
Will you please respond to my inquiry in a time sensitive matter? Thanks

Alen J Salerian MD
