Who are you?
Science says you are a cocktail of billions of living and nonliving things functioning in unison under the predominant governing influence of your prefrontal cortex.

First there was universe and the earth.
Then came a living cell or bacteria.
Over time came the multicellulars, plants, trees, forests and some billions  years later came fish ,crocodiles and  dinosaurs. Nobody is really sure all the precise timing of these fantastic events through which the earth became crowded with many species
Darwin theorized we evolved from chimpanzees and all the mammals came from fish and alligators.
I observe that our prefrontal cortex may represent the top ladder of evolution dating back to nonliving things. PFX   enjoys  predominant governing influence over the collective function of billions of living and nonliving things in our body.
Every layer of human brain is an emissary of our past living and nonliving things. I propose PFX the  brain region right beneath your forehead is the youngest living thing going back to infinity and nonliving things.

Our spine is a vestige from our fish days. We have our limbic-rabbit brain of mammalian origin and the sub cortex of our chimpanzee heritage. And finally  the prefrontal cortex of human brain the triumph  of evolution.
